OITI JOINS HCMC – BUSAN BUSINESS MEETING TO ADVANCE INTERNATIONAL INNOVATION PARTNERSHIPS

On August 14, 2025 in Busan, as part of the celebrations marking 30 years of the strong sister-city relationship between Ho Chi Minh City and Busan, a business meeting was held to promote bilateral cooperation in economy, trade, investment, and innovation.

At the meeting, Mr. Bui Trung Hieu – Deputy Director of the Open Innovation & Technopreneur Institute – participated as a member of the high-level delegation; together with Ms. Bui Thanh Hang – Director of the Open Innovation Hub – SoiHub, who served as the presenter/moderator for the panel discussion “Promoting Infrastructure Platforms to Support the Formation of Global Supply Chains, with Ho Chi Minh City and Busan as Key Connection Hubs.”

During the panel discussion, delegates shared their views on cooperation directions, ecosystem connectivity, and solutions to accelerate industrial transformation and expand global supply chains.

OITI’s presence at the event not only helped expand the international collaboration network, but also reaffirmed the role of open innovation as a bridge enabling Vietnamese enterprises to access global knowledge, technology, and investment opportunities. It also underscored OITI’s commitment to accompanying the business community in shaping a sustainable, connected, and innovative future.
