OITI REPRESENTATIVE HONORED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ASIA PACIFIC DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION FORUM 2025 HOSTED BY ADB IN MANILA

The Asia Pacific Digital Transformation Forum 2025, held from June 24-27, 2025 at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) headquarters in Manila (Philippines), is an annual event that brings together policymakers, technology experts, development organizations, and leading innovation-driven enterprises from across the region to discuss strategies for digital transformation that promote sustainable development.

📌 At the forum, Ms. Bui Thanh Hang, Vice Chairwoman of the Science Council of the Open Innovation & Technopreneur Institute (OITI), representing Vietnam, participated in the panel discussion titled “Harnessing AI for Development: Pathways to Impact and Enabling Environment”, alongside experts from ADB, Aboitiz Data Innovation, and the Government of Sri Lanka.

🔍 The panel, held on June 25, was one of the key highlights of the forum, focusing on the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to address development challenges in developing countries, from smart agriculture and digital healthcare to effective public governance. The session explored how to develop policy frameworks, digital skills, and an enabling environment for innovation that allows AI to be harnessed in a responsible, inclusive, and sustainable manner.
